Rural, yet chic and modern
Hostellerie Vivendum
On the shores of the river Maas in Limburg lies the idyllic village of Dilsen-Stokkem. Alex and Marianne Clevers renovated old chaplain’s residence, built in 1734, to make their dream come true in transforming it into a restaurant and hotel. Meticulously restored, the building’s history was fully preserved, including the age-old mantelpieces and vaulted ceilings. Spend the night at Vivendum in style. The rooms are romantic, chic and modern all at the same time. At the rear of the restaurant you will find Vivendum's terrace which has been awarded as the most beautiful terrace in Belgium by Gault&Millau.
Tranquil gastronomy
Restaurant Vivendum
The wonderful and modern restaurant offers tranquil gastronomy. The corner seating with low armchairs and designer fireplace form the finishing touch. The restaurant view of the half-open kitchen creates a special ambience. Chef Alex is happy to come to the table to explain his light and refined dishes. He creates French dishes using as many regional products as possible.

Reviews
"Welcome to Dilsen, a picturesque part of Limburg. The serenity of the surroundings radiates from Hostellerie Vivendum. This elegant restaurant is housed in an 18th-century chapel house that has been gently modernised, with respect for the character of the house. The terrace is one of the most beautiful in the country!"
Michelin*
"Near the Oude Maasarm, an 18th-century vicarage houses the refined kitchen of chef Alex Clevers. A successful setting for refined dishes that are surprising thanks to finely chosen details."
