Traditional mountain chalet in the Alps
Hôtel Le Grand Chalet Favre
Hotel Le Grand Chalet Favre is situated in the heart of the picturesque and largely car free village of St-Luc, at 1,650 metres altitude. The sun-bleached chalet, owned by Anne-Françoise and Claude Buchs-Favre, is furnished in idyllic Alpine style. Picture yourself lying in the deckchair of your private sunny balcony soaking up the mountain scenery, with views of the majestic Matterhorn, at more than 4,000 metres. The restaurant’s sunny terrace has some of the best alpine views in the Val d’Anniviers, both in winter and summer
Warm atmosphere with regional produce
Le Chalet Favre
Lunch and dinner in Hotel Le Grand Favre’s restaurant is an experience in itself. The traditional Swiss dishes such as raclette made with regional cheese, the tasteful furnishings with an eye for detail (the rustic wooden chairs are carved with local families’ coat-of-arms) and obviously the breathtaking scenery with a fire crackling in the fireplace.
