The innovative and trendy Unique Hotel Post, located in the heart of Zermatt, opened its doors in 1875 as the third oldest hotel in Zermatt. Martin Perren and his wife Daniela Perren-Germanini have been the fifth generation owners since 2001. Unique Hotel Post focuses on quality, diversity and a casual contemporary lifestyle. The rooms are designed in a homely-modern mountain chalet style in cooperation with the well-known designer Federica Palacios. Special emphasis was placed on the combination of tradition and modernity. Age-old brick walls, beams and wooden elements have been carefully restored and, along with a straightforward modern design, provide a fresh harmony in the mountains.

Restaurant Vivanda, Pöstli Stübli & BAO BAR
There is a wide selection of restaurants and bars at Unique Hotel Post Hotel. Restaurant Vivanda changes according to the season. In the winter months you can enjoy dinner in a cosy and authentic Zermatt chalet from 1772, in summer you can sit on the terrace overlooking the village. An authentic Italian ristorante with emphasis on original, fresh and home-made Italian products, preparations and dishes. You can also find a typical Swiss restaurant called Pöstli Stübli. This is where you can experience Swiss meat on a hot stone, crispy rösti variations, cheese fondues or a classic raclette. The exquisite wine selection completes the culinary experience. The BAO BAR is an uncomplicated lounge bar concept where you can appreciate trendy lounge music, fine drinks and Asian street food until the early hours of the morning.
