Restaurant ‘Le Début’ is located on the campus of Hotel School The Hague in Amsterdam. The fine-dining menu is created, prepared and served by the students who learn the tricks of the trade here. Sustainability is a top priority at Le Début Amsterdam, where the main focus is on serving pure, fresh and local ingredients. The students are trained to provide a high level of service in presenting refined multi-course menus, paired with the finest beverages. At Le Début Amsterdam, the vision of the Dutch Cuisine and the 5 Principles to "make delicious, healthy and sustainable food more attractive and accessible and because it is good for the economy and for the planet" is used as a guideline.
