French-cousine with contemporary cuisine
Restaurant Les Salons
Enjoy seasonal dishes with a contemporary twist at Château St. Gerlach. Formerly the living quarters kitchen and dining room of Baron de Selys de Fanson, the restaurant’s homely and comforting interior matches the atmosphere fostered by the restaurant staff. This is a place that combines nostalgia with a contemporary kitchen, created by the Chef de Cuisine together with his talented kitchen team. Here, the menu consists of dishes made with local ingredients and produce from the kitchen garden at the estate. Weather permitting, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed on the terrace. For coffee with vlaai – a tart that is a regional specialty – or a simple lunch, you are welcome at Burgemeester Quicx, Coffee & More, in the manor farm by the estate entrance.

REVIEWS
"Château St. Gerlach and Bistro de Liège have merged to become Les Salons. The castle entourage remains just as special; the former living quarters, kitchen and dining room of Baron de Selys de Fanson have retained their original decor. The view of the garden is breathtaking. The presentation on the plate is modern. We note down two chef's hats for this concept."
