Own elegant creations

Restaurant Voltaire

Restaurant Voltaire is the gastronomic heart of Parc Broekhuizen. Located within the estate’s historic Manor House dating back to 1907, the experience begins the moment you are guided through the kitchen into the dining room. Historic grandeur, contemporary design, and views across the estate create a setting that feels both refined and inviting. At the helm of the kitchen is Chef Falco Lens, who has been responsible for the culinary direction of the Michelin-starred restaurant since 2026. Following years of experience at renowned restaurants including De Kromme Dissel, Aan de Poel, La Provence, and Lagrange, he is now developing his own culinary signature at Voltaire: international flavors built upon a light, refined, and classically inspired foundation. His vision is clear: to bring classical cuisine into the present while preserving its soul. Together with Maître Julian Schweigl and Sommelier Nils Snitselaar, Falco creates a complete dining experience where gastronomy, service, and wine pairings blend seamlessly. Under the leadership of Chef Falco Lens, Restaurant Voltaire continues to build on the Michelin star it has held since 2018 and was recently awarded 16 points in the Gault&Millau guide. Every menu reflects a continuous pursuit of refinement, balance, and creativity, where technique and flavor always serve the guest experience. Dining at Voltaire is more than a meal. It is a carefully composed culinary journey that is elegant, contemporary, and unmistakably its own.

PURE, SEASONAL, AND FULL OF CHARACTER

Bistro LOF

Nestled on the estate of Parc Broekhuizen, Bistro LOF (short for Local Organic Farming) celebrates the power of pure ingredients, the rhythm of the seasons, and a relaxed approach to dining. This is not formal fine dining, but a contemporary bistro where quality and hospitality come together naturally. Since 2025, Chef Zoë Jonker has led the kitchen with passion and dedication. Her impressive background includes some of Europe’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Ciel Bleu, The Jane, and Oud Sluis. In 2020, she was named “Discovery of the Year” by Gault&Millau, recognizing both her talent and distinctive culinary vision. Together with her husband Ralph Jonker, Zoë has created a restaurant where local produce, ingredients from the estate’s own kitchen garden, and seasonality take center stage. The menu is built around pure flavors, elevated by refined techniques and thoughtful details. Guests may discover dishes such as salmon tartare with tom kha kai foam, slow-cooked veal cheek, halibut with Lardo di Colonnata, or vegetable creations that receive the same attention as fish and meat. Guests can choose between a seasonal surprise menu or dishes from the à la carte menu, each reflecting the kitchen’s commitment to quality and flavor. The atmosphere remains warm and approachable throughout. Whether seated inside the stylish bistro or on the terrace overlooking the estate, LOF invites guests to linger and enjoy. Here, complexity is never the goal. The product always comes first - honest, local, and prepared with genuine respect for flavor.
