Bistrôt Le Ciel is the bistro that looks like an enchanted forest, located in Hotel La Butte aux Bois, right in the heart of the Limburg paradise for walking and cycling near Lanaken. Chef Pieter Beurskens serves up timeless classics with a modern twist. Highlights of the evening include asparagus risotto finished with taleggio espuma and veal ravioli with summer truffle, followed by a trio of lamb — fillet, cutlet, and croquette — accompanied by spring vegetables and Madeira sauce. For dessert: a strawberry bavarois on a crisp biscuit, topped with fresh strawberries.
