Hotel Gastronomique de Echoput
Enjoyment in harmony with the Veluwe nature
Hotel Gastronomique de Echoput
At Hotel Gastronomique de Echoput, it's all about gastronomic enjoyment in harmony with the Veluwe nature. In 1955, the Klosse family acquired this unique location and transformed the original tea house 'De Echo' into a leading 5-star hotel. Located in the lush forests of Paleis Het Loo near Apeldoorn, the hotel offers 42 comfortable rooms and suites, each with breathtaking views of the surrounding centuries-old trees. Guests can enjoy modern facilities, including a game bar, exclusive meeting rooms, cooking studio, heated indoor pool, fitness center, and a small sauna, all designed to ensure a luxurious and relaxing stay. The nearby hiking and cycling routes offer plenty of opportunities to explore nature and enjoy this unique wildlife area.
Experience a gastronomic total experience
Grand Bistro Echo
At Grand Bistro Echo you taste the Veluwe. The kitchen cooks to the rhythm of the seasons: local Veluwe game, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms and fruits from the surrounding area form the base of pure, characterful dishes. Wine pairings, inspired by the Klosse family’s flavor theory, lift every course to a higher level. Complete your culinary experience with a package from Hotel Gastronomique De Echoput. Combine dinner with a restful overnight stay and a generous breakfast with bubbles, giving you extra time to enjoy the forest, the quiet and the hotel’s amenities. Private dining? Absolutely. De Echoput offers several spaces for groups: from one long table for around 30 guests to multiple round tables for a more intimate setting. Feel free to ask about the options; the team is happy to help plan. The kitchen carries a rich history. In the 1950s, De Echoput began as a teahouse; grandfather Jaap Klosse developed one of the Netherlands’ first refined game cuisines, laying the foundation for an award-winning tradition. Under “taste professor” Peter Klosse, the focus on unique wine pairings grew. Today, the third generation, led by Lodewijk Klosse, builds on this heritage—with Grand Bistro Echo as a contemporary stage for flavor, craftsmanship and the nature of the Veluwe.
