In one of Germany's oldest towns

Hotel am Ochsentor

Andernach is a town at the eastern edge of the Eifel hills. With more than 2000 years of history, this is one of the oldest towns in Germany, so there are plenty of cultural attractions to enjoy. Hotel am Ochsentor opened in the town centre in 2016. The stylishly modern atmosphere starts as you step through the glass entrance. The mood continues in the guestrooms and bathrooms, with their calm contemporary colours and complementary choice of materials and fabrics. The interior design contributes to the hotel’s distinctive relaxed atmosphere. It’s a place to unwind and take it easy – also for your dog, as this is a pet-friendly hotel. And of course, it’s also an outstanding place to dine.

Homemade pasta and aroma cuisine

Ai Pero & YOSO

The authentic Italian restaurant Ai Pero offers antipasti, homemade pasta, delicious pizzas from the wood-fired oven in the Trattoria and ambitious Italian menus, excellent fish and meat dishes and delicious desserts in the Ristorante. The bar is a typical 'enoteca', an Italian word derived from Greek that originally meant a wine shop, but is now a place to taste a variety of wines. Take a seat at one of the high tables in Enoteca Ai Pero and enjoy. Next door is the Asian-inspired YOSO, which has been awarded a Michelin star with Asian street food and menus inspired by the four elements: water, fire, earth and air.

"Yoso is Korean and stands for the elements of fire, water, air and earth, which are translated into an interesting modern concept. In addition to Asian flavours, regional elements are also brought in."
