At Quality Lodgings, we believe a worry-free experience begins with clarity. That is why all our affiliated hotels operate under one central booking structure.

When you book through our website, you enter into an agreement directly with the hotel of your choice. Payment is handled by the hotel itself. We ensure that your reservation is carefully communicated and that the conditions are transparent and consistent.

You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the day of arrival. This way, you know exactly where you stand.

Who we are & how booking works

Quality Lodgings (QL) is a collection of independent hotels across Europe. Each hotel is carefully selected for its authentic hospitality, craftsmanship and distinctive character.

Through our website, we help you discover these special places and book directly with affiliated hotels.

QL acts as a quality label and intermediary. We are not the owner or operator of the affiliated hotels.

When you book through our website, the accommodation agreement is concluded directly between you and the selected hotel.

QL receives a commission from the hotel for its intermediary services and manages communication regarding your reservation, including confirmations, changes and cancellations. The financial settlement of your stay is handled directly by the hotel.

Your reservation

A reservation becomes binding once you receive a confirmation from QL. 

This confirmation serves as the official booking confirmation. The hotel does not send a separate confirmation.

Please review this carefully and contact QL promptly in case of any inaccuracies.

Reservations for accommodation on a specific date are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.

Payment & security deposit

Payment for your stay is made directly to the hotel.

The hotel determines:

  • the payment method

  • any required deposit

  • any security deposit

  • additional charges

The hotel’s payment terms apply to your reservation.

This information is clearly stated before you complete your booking.

Cancellation & changes

You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the day of arrival. 

If you cancel within 48 hours before arrival, in case of a no-show, or in case of early departure, 100% of the accommodation costs will be charged.

Cancellation fees are charged by the hotel.
 

Changes and cancellations of your reservation are handled through QL.

The effective time of a change or cancellation is the moment it is received by QL.

You may transfer your reservation to another person up to 7 days before arrival, subject to the hotel’s approval.

In exceptional circumstances, the hotel may modify your reservation due to compelling reasons. In such cases, the hotel will offer an equivalent alternative or a refund.

In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, 100% of the accommodation costs are due.

During your stay

You must comply with the hotel’s house rules and are liable for any damage you cause. The hotel may request a security deposit.

For questions regarding your stay, facilities or additional requests, please contact the hotel directly.

In cases of force majeure, the parties will seek a reasonable solution.

Responsibility & complaints

The hotel is responsible for the performance of the stay.

QL’s liability is limited to the booking process and the handling of reservations via the website.

Complaints regarding your stay should first be addressed to the hotel, so that a solution can be sought on-site.

If no solution can be reached, Quality Lodgings may assist in mediation where appropriate.
 

Other provisions

All reservations made via Quality Lodgings are subject to these central booking conditions.
In the event of any conflicting or differing terms, these central booking conditions of Quality Lodgings shall prevail.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

These booking conditions are governed by Dutch law.
