RESTAURANT & WINE BAR HEMEL & AARDE
Under the same roof as The Nox is Restaurant Hemel & Aarde, where Chef Rene van der Weijden and his brigade elevate cooking to an art form. Although the restaurant is not directly part of the hotel, The Nox and Hemel & Aarde work closely together. Guests of The Nox are warmly welcome to dine at Hemel & Aarde, where cooking is done with respect for the seasons, with patience, precision, and deep attention to vegetables. The menu is determined by what the earth has to offer at that moment. Guests choose from three menus: Hemels (the complete vision of the kitchen), Aarde (vegetarian adventure), and Hemel & Aarde (the best of the moment with a subtle touch of meat or fish). During dinner, they serve 5, 6, or 7 courses, and for lunch 3, 4, or 5 courses. The restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, and for lunch Thursday through Saturday. Right next to the restaurant is Wijnbar Hemel & Aarde, where you taste the same philosophy in a relaxed setting. The sommelier team selects wines that follow the season - classic favorites and hidden gems from small producers. The bites come from Chef Rene's kitchen, and recently you can also join for a three-course menu at a friendly price. Wijnbar Hemel & Aarde is open Tuesday through Saturday and also showcases the artwork of Eirik Jahnsen.
