Family pride with traditional hospitality
Hotel Wildthout
Originally, Hotel & Restaurant Wildthout was a mayor's residence built around 1900 by the then mayor of Ommen, Mr. Bentinck. He named this stately home "the Villa Henan", after his two daughters Hennie and Anna. Since June 2015, Niek and Petra van Duuren have been the proud owners of this warm family business, and they have grasped the challenge with both hands to expand the stately building into a pleasant hotel where guests will feel particularly at home. In a historic building like Hotel Wildthout, no two rooms are the same. Everywhere, the corners, windows, beams and sloping roofs are different. This also contributes to the cosy and homely atmosphere. All rooms have a view of the green surroundings.
Artisanal Cuisine
Restaurant Wildthout
The kitchen and service brigade are managed by years of experience at the highest level. This guarantees knowledge and expertise, although it is the inviting atmosphere in combination with the honest cuisine and attentive service that keep guests coming back. The French cuisine of Chef Dylan van Echten is 100% handcrafted with Dutch and Asian influences. You see and taste the love in the tasteful dishes with products fresh from the land. Organic products are chosen where they offer added value. The restaurant has a large, sunny lounge with sliding doors to the garden. When the weather is nice, breakfast and dinner can be served on the terrace in the garden.
