Le Cor de Chasse

Family hotel in castle farm

Le Cor de Chasse

In the forested hills and valleys of the Ourthe and Aisne region lies the authentic village Wéris. Here you will find Le Cor de Chasse, a veritable family hotel in a manor farm from 1681. The interior is contemporary, luxurious and in harmony with the history of the building. The standard rooms are located in the former sheep barn, the suites with private terrace are in the central wing. Modern cuisine is at the heart of the one-star restaurant. The dishes are seasonal and have a signature touch that is both personal and pleasantly surprising. Dining is a true voyage of discovery!

Personal and unexpectedly suprising

Restaurant Le Cor de Chasse

Mario Elias is one of the few ‘new cuisine’ representatives in the Walloon region. Dining here is a totally new experience. The dishes are seasonal as well as regional and have a signature touch that is both personal and unexpectedly surprising. Local elements, but also influences from the East and from the South of Europe create a balance between complexity and pure taste. The presentation is second to none and the dishes smell tantalisingly delicious. The accompanying wines are fantastic and the service is excellent.

Reviews

"Once inside, we immediately fell for the charm of this setting. Pure nature, both in the natural stone walls and in the tables, some of which are based on a tree trunk. The large windows let in a lot of daylight and offer a view of the greenery."

Gault&Millau 16,5/20

"Welcome to one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia. Wéris is picturesque, wooded and home to this restaurant of character. Behind the typical Ardennes stones you will discover a paragon of contemporary class. Modern but also cosy."
