Culinary refinement and hospitality
The Charles - Restaurant
The name 'The Charles' is an honorable reference to the founder of The Duke Club, in which the restaurant The Charles is located. The logo symbolizes strength, growth, and vitality, aspects that also remind the team of the founder of The Duke Club. The tree logo serves as a guiding principle for the restaurant; "a tree has four seasons, which is reflected in our changing dishes." The Charles has a dedicated kitchen team. Under the leadership of SVH Master Chef Alain Alders, Jack Blackwell is responsible for the culinary experience. With Alain's years of experience at Michelin-star level, an astonishingly high-quality culinary experience awaits. Luuk Egelmeer, under the guidance of Bas Crooijmans, shares his profound knowledge of wine and hospitality to make your evening an unforgettable highlight. Let yourself be surprised by carefully crafted dinners with the most exquisite ingredients. It promises to be a culinary journey you'll want to experience again and again.

Key Features and Services
Reviews
"Part of a golf club, it boasts a warm decor with the ambiance of an English club. The cuisine is contemporary classic and aims for certainty, which is not a problem at all, especially when you are served perfectly cooked red mullet with flavorful couscous, tzatziki with bits of fennel, a refreshing fennel salad, and dots of saffron mayonnaise. Well-curated wine list, attentive service, and a beautiful terrace. We look forward to the culinary creations of the recently appointed chef Alain Alders, who comes from Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg in Santpoort."
