Le Val d’Amblève is located at the edge of Stavelot, one of the oldest cities in Belgium, in the heart of the forests of Liège’s Ardennes. The guest rooms are located in the stylish main building, the modern annexe, and Le Jardin des Princes. The large picture windows offer beautiful views over the rolling hills surrounding the hotel. The hotel has a sauna and Turkish bath with a panoramic roof terrace. Couple Lars & Karin Roxs oversee Le Val d’Amblève. Chef Lassaad Ben Yaala and sous-chef Olivier Giltay create an exquisite, light, and contemporary French-Belgian menu. The dining room is in the sunroom, where the stylish romantic interior offers beautiful views over the parkland garden, both in the evening and during the day.

Ruud and Marian Roxs have worked devotedly since 1987 to create Le Val d'Amblève as it is today. Ruud Roxs is a renowned chef, who worked for many Dutch top restaurants, such as De Wanne and De Karpendonkse Hoeve. Son Lars and his partner Karin Roxs have now taken over. The cuisine at Restaurant Le Val d'Amblève can be described as classic French/Belgian with a light modern twist. The restaurant is stylishly contemporary with a romantic touch, but not too formal. Breakfast is served in the Winter Garden and there is private Dining available in the Festival Room.
